Iain and Linda live in Popenguine, Senegal. Popenguine is a small village on the coast, (la Petite Cote), approx. 70 km from Dakar, the capital of Senegal. The village is well known in Senegal for the following reasons, the President has a Government Residence here and there is also a strong Catholic church. For more information click here. Our house is well known for it’s colourful hedge. We have lovely neighbours and feel part of village life here. Most importantly we have the football pitch just across from us. Great to be able to watch the matches during the season. Then on the other side we have the “Grande Mosque”.
